Welcome to Beech Class!
Teacher: Miss Logan
This term our topic is 'Changing Cheshire'. We will be exploring the changes that Cheshire has experienced from the Stone Age to modern day. We will also learn to plot Cheshire on a map.
In English, we will be using the vehicle text 'The Night Gardener' by The Fan Brothers to create a setting narrative. After half term we will be using the text 'A River' by Marc Martin and writing a circular narrative. We will also be writing letters to a character from the book.
In maths, we will focus on place value, addition and subtraction.
Reading books will be changed each Monday. Children will also choose a new library book each Monday.
PE takes place each Monday and Thursday. We have Active 30 each Monday and Wednesday.
